The whole concept of “Love” is just a fancy word we use to soften the reality of the situation, which is “Compatibility”… That’s what it boils down to, someone who will tolerate you for a few years, and if you’re lucky up until you’re six feet under…
That is of course the ideal scenario, in the middle there are many issues, flings, affairs, cheating, lies, deception… and that’s just the positive side of the scenario, lest us forget Lorena Bobbit…
What does romance mean to me? Absolutely nothing more than a movie I am forced to watch and will pretend to enjoy with a girlfriend, other than that, it’s nothing really…
There is no “The One”… “The One” is a concept we gave birth to from the centers of our ego to feel that we are all unique and special, the truth is, there are over hundreds of each one of us, who look, think, and act just the same…
You’re as unique as a spoon, we all are…
Romance means you date whoever the hell wants to date you, and can put up with your annoying self.
